Soft Paws are vinyl nail caps that are glued on to your cat's existing nails with a pet safe nail glue. They look like a cat's nail, only hollow and come in lots of fun colours! Nail caps are a completely safe and humane solution to cat scratching problems and won't interfere with the normal extension and retraction of your cats claws. While they tend to last the natural growth cycle of your cats nails (4-6 weeks) all cats are different, in my experience I have seen nail caps remain on for anywhere between 2-4 weeks on average.
